For about the first 20 years of my life I equated healthy food with the word disgusting. Sure, I liked fruits & veggies and most meats, etc., but I REALLY liked junk food. French fries, milkshakes, ice cream, pizza, waffles, pasta, etc. I just wasn’t interested in eating “healthy.”
I’ve obviously changed the way I think and I’ve learned a lot over the past several years. Namely, that healthy food can taste amazing, and usually is more fulfilling in all ways than junk food. I’ve even found many recipes adapting my favorite junk foods into healthy versions. They are awesome! I also love to play around with ideas and concoct healthy recipes of my own.
